LOLA'S FUN TIME!

I just heard from Lola who said she's having a great time on her adventure with her host family. Lola had a relaxing day at the Mahwah Pool. She sat in the chair and sunbathed on a towel. She had a great day!

FINALLY!!!

Well it's about time! We each had some cool people come and check us out of the library. Ah, the fresh air. Wait a minute....did we say fresh? Why's it so HOT out here?!? Anyway, Monkey was checked out first, then me Sock, and then Lola. Lola would say that they "saved the best for last," but Monkey and I have one thing to say about that: "WHATEVER." Oh, you know we love you Lola. We'll post again as soon as we get back from our adventures. Later y'all, Sock

P.S. Mom asked if she could change the background of our blog. We figured we'd humor her, and that's the background she picked. It sorta goes with the "Beneath the Surface" theme right? Let Mom know what you think. Should she change it back, or keep it?

BENEATH THE SURFACE?!?

Hey everyone, Sock here.  Beneath the Surface?!?  What the heck does that mean.  I hope Mom's not going to make Monkey, Lola and I dig around in the dirt.  We're more "tree" beings (if you know what I mean).

FINALLY, the summer is here.  We've been SO bored waiting to be checked out of the library.  I mean, it's a cool place and all with all of the really great books to read, and Teen programs.  But a happening guy like myself likes a change every once in a while.

If you'd like to take Monkey, Lola, or me out for an adventure just make sure to get a "Permission Form" from Mom (Denise J., the Teen Librarian).  She'll make you promise to take good care of us, return us on time (with no "boo boos" either), and feed us really well.  Oh, okay you don't have to do that last part because it could get quite messy.  We are monkeys after all!  But PLEASE check us out (get it? get it?)  TEE HEE!!!

BEDTIME STORIES

Hey everyone!  It's me Sock.  I can't wait to be "checked out" of the library for sleepovers this summer!  Do you promise to read me a bedtime story?  Here I am getting ready to read one of my favorite books all comfy cozy in my favorite chair.  AAHHH!!!  Why us this making me want a banana?

AND WE'RE OFF AGAIN!!!

YAY!!!  Lola and I were just "checked out" of the Mahwah Public Library and are really looking forward to our upcoming adventures.  We'll blog about them when we get back. 

Whew!!!  It's been a while since our last trip and we've been itching (not literally) to get out.  Now will someone PLEASE check out Monkey too?!?!?  We're afraid he'll be in a REALLY bad mood when we get back.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!!!

Sock, Lola & Monkey Soaking Up the Sun in Florida on December 4th, 2011

Lola & Stitch "out and about" in Toronto, Canada on September 1st, 2011 (that's the CN Tower in the

background which is the TALLEST "free-standing" structure in the Western Hemisphere

and it serves as a telecommunications hub).

Well it was truly an exciting year, and I'm happy to bring my family back to the place that it all started.  It was exactly one year ago that Mom & Dad adopted me from this Cracker Barrel in Kissimmee, Florida and my life and adventures truly began.  I really have been "There And Back Again," haven't I. 

We're all grateful to our friends who during the year took us to really cool places and let us do wonderful things.  We went to Mexico, Las Vegas, baseball games, down to the Jersey shore (thank goodness we didn't run into Snookie and her housemates though), Massachusetts, Niagara Falls (both NY and Canada), Toronto Canada, and even on a big cruise!!!  And finally after completing my journey back down to Florida this month, I'm now back home where I belong.

Mom told us that she's about to begin another "Teen Winter Reading Club" in a few weeks and she's going to let us be a part of 2012's teen & "tween" events.  YAY!!!!  We're all really looking forward to joining the fun again and hope you'll all come to check us out.  Keep posted for more updates and adventures!
